Dear Parents
Can you believe another term has come and gone? It feels like just yesterday we were welcoming your children back to school, and now here we are, wrapping up another incredible term.
I want to start by saying thank you. Thank you for entrusting us with your your children. Thank you for your unwavering support, encouragement, and trust. Your partnership has made a world of difference in our learners learning experiences, and we're so grateful to have you as part of our community.
This term, our learners have accomplished some truly amazing things. From academic achievements to extracurricular activities and personal growth milestones. We've seen them flourish in so many ways. We've watched them develop new skills, build meaningful relationships, and explore their passions. It's been an absolute joy to witness their progress and celebrate their triumphs. We also mindful of many learners who have not met the pass requirement and request that you start pulling out all stops to assist wherever their need may be.Do encourage time for reading and limit their time on social media as well as TV watching. Encourage them to watch/play anything educational. Continue to monitor them on their devices.
As we head into the break, I want to remind you that our school's mission remains at the heart of everything we do. We're committed to providing a nurturing environment where learners can grow, learn, and thrive. We want to help your children become compassionate, curious, and creative individuals who will make a positive impact in the world.
My personal request is that they should read one passage of proverbs a day. Even better if they can write a chapter a week. Please read for our younger learners.
We want to highlight a few upcoming events and important dates for you to diarise.

Good Day Parents
Welcome back after a well-deserved break and holiday. We thank God for keeping us safe and all blessings bestowed on us.
Thank you for trusting us with your child during the 2023 academic school year. All learners are in classes and school work has started. We started without any problems and thank our parents who have worked with us.
Welcome to all grade ones and new learners in other grades.
Please take note of the following
• All documents must be handed in at office including transfers and reports (new learners)
• Parents be reminded to correctly reference your child name, surname and grade when making fees payments.
• Ensure that by now you have all your stationary and textbooks
• Hair is cut neatly and correct uniform is worn.
• Obey school rules as set out in prospectus.
• Learners must know parents phone numbers.
• School starts at 7:45am learners must be early.
• All transport must be ready to collect learners on time and at dismissal time (too may learners roaming around after school)
• Although all care is taken to look after kids that are on and outside the school premises. The school cannot be held accountable for learners after school dismissal.
Punctuality
We do not want to disturb learners while they are busy and would like parents to refrain from bringing learners late to classes.
Textbooks / Tablet
By now all learners should have their textbooks or tablet loaded with books. For smooth running of classes and teaching to take place learners need to have their books/devices available.
General Health
Ensure that you and your child take the necessary vitamins everyday and that your child has a healthy snack everyday. Explain the importance of coughing with hand in front of mouth and not touching each other unnecessarily.
Bathroom Hygiene
Parents please instil the importance of good bathroom hygiene in your children. Although our staff work around the clock to keep bathrooms clean the learners need to know that they have to ensure that they keep it clean. We have to many learners not applying the basics when using the toilets. Please assist in this regard.
Medicine
We are not allowed to administer any medicine at school. If your child is ill please keep them at home. Please administer medication at home before school, should they come to school.
Importance of each day
Learners must sleep early everyday. Monitor their activity on devices daily. Ensure that they complete homework right after school. No child is allowed to sit with homework until the late hours of the night. Ensure that they eat breakfast every morning as it helps with their concentration if they are fed.
Communication
We really do not want parents to come to school unnecessarily. Kindly make an appointment with office to see teachers after 2pm. All payments should be made directly into back account. Mrs. Cammay is available to see you after 12pm or before 8am in the morning.
We have our WhatsApp groups for communication and school work. Kindly ensure that you are added to a group. The school has a facebook page and website for information. We encourage parents to email or phone school with queries, if not resolved we will arrange for a meeting.
Loadshedding has a huge impact on our school lines so rather send an email / WhatsApp to school

It is the responsibility of the parents / caretaker after school to make sure learners are doing their homework and to prepare thoroughly for tests and assessments. Make sure that your child adheres to all due dates that will be given for each term. We need to make sure that learners are in a set routine daily. This routine will help them complete tasks and prepare for the next day.

Parking in front of School
Let’s be mindful when parking in front of school as well as when we leave. Do not block cars at any point and let’s continue moving in one direction – anti clock wise.
Excursion and Camp
We will be having a leadership camp (15-17 March) at a cost of R1400 for grade 7s should we have enough learners attending, it will roll over to grade 6s if there is enough interest. Our prefects and head girls and head boys will be announced afterwards.
We will have an excursion at the beginning of March for all learners. More information will be available in due time.
Do not forget to pay your R100 compulsory contribution before end of March.
At Feed My Lambs we always have your child’s best interest at heart. We will do our best to ensure that they are happy and productive at school. Their emotional and physical well-being is also very important. We do ask parents to take hands and strengthen the bond so that we can help each and every learner to reach their goals and to succeed in life.
Always keep in touch with the register teacher to ensure that your child is up to par and if he/she is experiencing any problem so that we can deal with it immediately.
May God bless our Staff, Parents and Learners during this year.
Kind Regards
A.Jacobs (Principal)
